Many thanks Bart! Your blog is superb. I'm still smiling about the great assembling of ruined pianos. It makes me think that I should post about an exquisitely painful ruin in the beautiful Mechanics Hall, Worcester, Massachusetts, when I was about to play Mozart K.467 and the movers DROPPED the poor thing when bringing it from the side of the stage ... legs snapped off and went flying, the thing slipped like the Titanic down an elegant stairway stage right, and the great noise was caught on radio. A fresh ruin like that has no potential, alas, only the sound of the crash itself. At any rate, I hope you never stop posting!

That's an amazing story. I hope someone kept the tape! Definitely a "blogable" story :)
