Gadgety. Nerdy. Possibly Lame.

Prepare to get your nerd-on:
"Files are stored onto the piano's hard drive and can be transferred via USB to a PC, and then easily burned onto a CD for in-car listening. Plus, if you hook up the piano to a TV, you can display lyrics and graphics for a song on it."
Yup, it's Yamaha made. Read the rest here.

I don't know about you, but once you get to this level of geeking out, I think I'd rather have a decent midi controller, a "real" computer, and some solid piano samples. Seriously.

Yup. Nerdy. I dislike most of the piano sounds on keyboards anyway... even the costly ones. Nothing can beat the feeling and sound of the real thing... but keyboards are good for experimenting with other sounds.

As a guitarist, I always loved the MIDI Disclaviers. Some of my piano playing friends even said that the high end baby grand and grand piano versions were actually decent as pianos all on their own. For me, though, it was just cool to be able to play something I wrote on the computer for a piano on a real, actual piano via MIDI.

I don't care how many dynamic levels you sample at, or how high end your sound system is, there is still nothing like the sound of a real actual piano versus a virtual one.

If I could afford one, I'd have one in my living room right now.
