De klank als handschrift

Maestro Haiitnik is not a happy camper:

"Haitink is so angry about a biography about him that he is threatening to boycott an event at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw to mark the 50th anniversary of his first appearance as conductor with its orchestra"

and why is he reportedly angry? Nobody seems to have a clue.

Read about it here. Anyone got more on this story?

According to this article, Haitink is sometimes difficult. He must have started to worry about the book, although the authors stayed away from 'dangerous items.' The article then explains that those 'dangerous items' would have something to do with Haitink's personal relationships (four marriages). It further states that Haitink's impulsive behaviour is as much a part of his inexplicable artistry as his grudges.
